New DC-340 Value-Priced Direct-to-Card Printer

Mar 31, 2025

DASCOM, a recognized global leader in business technology solutions for more than 35 years, announces that its Americas subsidiary, DASCOM Americas, will unveil the new DC-340 Direct-to-Card Printer at ISC West in Las Vegas April 2nd through 4th.

The DC-340 provides single-side, edge-to-edge printing, offers print capability of up to 165 cards per hour (YMCKO) or 590 cards per hour (Monochrome K).

The DC-340 is value-priced and positioned as an entry level unit that fits a variety of card printing applications while bringing uncompromised quality at a price point that is extremely attractive for users.

The unit offers what can be deemed as essentially “plug-and-play” setup as it ships with a YMCKO ribbon, a packet of 100 blank cards, and DASCOM’s CardEditor™ software that allows for easy creation of high-quality ID cards.

According to Mike Wojciak, Director of Card Printer Sales for DASCOM Americas: “The DC-340 is a very impressive, well-designed direct-to-card printer that gives users immense benefits and price value for a range of card printing applications. Security features including RFID ribbon and custom watermark (BMP) along with simple card loading, fast processing, ease of ribbon loading, and intuitive operation means customers can enjoy exceptional, safe printing at a great price without a steep technology learning curve.”

Juan Vidaurrazaga, Vice President of Sales for DASCOM Americas adds: “DASCOM continues to innovate in the card printer industry and bring great technology to market in a wide range of printer and ancillary product choices for the security, access control, and ID badging market spaces. We have great printer products in both the retransfer and direct-to-card printer variety including this all-new DC-340 single-sided printer. This product helps us establish a “starter” printer that delivers on quality and value and fits well into less complicated, yet important card printing applications. The DC-340 is indicative of our continued growth and commitment to specificity in market segmentation to meet customer needs.”
