Streamlining Spare Parts Logistics with Mobile Printing at Bleker Autoteile

Feb 02, 2026

The Customer

Bleker Autoteile GmbH, part of the Bleker Group Borken, is one of Germany’s most reliable and efficient suppliers of original automotive spare parts. The company serves authorized dealers and independent workshops, stocking approximately 40,000 parts for brands including Citroën, DS Automobiles, Peugeot, Opel, Renault, Nissan, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Jeep.

The Challenge

Bleker Autoteile sought to improve its package marking, order tracking, and delivery documentation processes. The existing system lacked visibility into orders without opening packages, leading to potential sorting errors and inefficiencies in both picking and shipping operations. The company needed a robust, mobile printing solution that could integrate seamlessly with its SAP system and support real-time, on-site label printing.

The Solution

After years of collaboration in the printing sector, Heinrich Wietholt GmbH recommended the Tally Dascom DP-530L mobile thermal printer. This compact, WLAN-enabled device was integrated into Bleker’s small parts warehouse and connected directly to the SAP system via WLAN.

 Implementation

1. Package Marking & Order Tracking

The DP-530L enables Bleker to print labels containing specific allocation information, allowing customers to identify orders without opening packages. Labels are printed on-demand and attached during picking and packing, ensuring accurate sorting and storage.

2. Delivery Documentation

For tour-based deliveries, each handling unit (HU) receives a printed label. Drivers scan all packages at pickup and again at delivery, ensuring complete digital documentation and eliminating mix-ups.

 3. Picking & Repackaging

When partial contents of manufacturer packages are required, staff use the DP-530L to print new labels on-site for repackaged items. The printer’s mobility and wireless connectivity support efficient workflows across the warehouse.

4. Shipping Accuracy

The introduction of mobile printing has minimized errors in shipping, reduced delivery complaints, and accelerated both picking and dispatch processes.

Results & Benefits

  • Improved Traceability: Orders are clearly identifiable from the outside, speeding up sorting and storage.

  • Error-Free Deliveries: Full digital scanning and labeling prevent mix-ups and enhance handover documentation.

  • Operational Flexibility: The lightweight, wireless printer can be used anywhere in the warehouse or on loading docks.

  • Time & Cost Savings: Reduced labeling errors and delivery complaints have led to significant efficiency gains.

  • Scalability: Due to its success, Bleker plans to equip all branches and departments with the DP-530L.

“Thanks to our new labeling system, mix-ups are impossible. All in all, this means significant savings for us,” reports a representative from Bleker Autoteile. “The operation is very simple, label rolls are changed quickly, and the long battery life allows for extensive printing.”
